No there are a lot of private ALFs that are like my moms, which allow residents to transition to Medicaid after a specific period of private pay. But like I said, you wouldn’t know which ones do and which don’t, just from looking at websites or something. Like I said my mom’s place operates in 28 states including Alabama, I’d imagine policies would be the same across states.
